Conference: 26 to 29 May 2010, Wednesday to Saturday
Guidelines for Abstract Submission
Abstracts must be submitted through the Conference website (will be ready by July 2009.
In preparation of the abstracts, please adopt the following abstract format:
  • Abstracts must be written in English.
  • Abstract title (Arial, Bold, 12 pt)
  • Author(s) and author affiliations (Arial, Bold, 12 pt), please underline the name of the presenter.
  • Main Text
    • It should be typed in 12pt, Arial and single-spaced.
    • Abbreviations must be defined on first use.
    • It should include objectives of the study, procedures, results and conclusions.
    • Length of the main text should be no more than 300 words.
  • Authors should specify the Conference Symposium of interest when submiting the abstract. Each Symposium has an oral and poster presentation from which authors may choose when they submit. However, the final decision lies with the scientific committee.
  • Regular mail or fax submission will not be accepted.
All accepted abstracts with registration and payment before the deadline will be published in the Conference Proceedings.

Upon submitting your abstract via the Conference website, you will receive an "abstract reference number" indicating that your abstract has been submitted successfully. When encountering problems in uploading on the Conference website, please contact the Secretariat: iascb@nuhs.edu.sg
Acceptance of Abstracts
The Scientific Committee will review all submitted abstracts and information regarding acceptance, and presentation details will be sent to the presenting author. Only abstracts of authors who have paid registration fees by 31 March 2010 will be scheduled for presentation.
